Parent Portal is a family dashboard that connects to your calendars and your children's school systems to give you a single view of schedules, grades, and assignments. We currently support Canvas LMS, Schoology, and Google Classroom. We also generate AI-powered summaries and let you ask questions about your family's week through a built-in assistant.
Parent Portal is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers. Children do not create accounts or interact with the service directly. All accounts belong to adults who choose to connect their family's data sources.
All data syncing is read-only. Parent Portal does not modify your calendars, submit assignments, or change grades.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (cloud infrastructure in the United States). API credentials for connected services are encrypted. The application is served over HTTPS via Vercel.
Only the family members you invite can see your family's data. You control who has access and what they can see through role-based permissions (Owner, Editor, Viewer) and scope controls (schedule only, academics only, or both).
Parent Portal staff may access data only to diagnose technical issues you report. We do not browse user data for any other reason.
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete all associated family data, chat history, and connected service credentials. Backups are purged within 30 days.
